Retail | Using BLAZEPAY

BLAZEPAY is Point of Banking debit processing that is fully integrated with BLAZE Retail Point of Sale (POS). Point of Banking (cashless ATM) systems support authorized PIN-based card transactions. This allows your customers to pay with their ATM / debit cards. Sales need to be made rounding up to the nearest $10 increment, similar to cashless ATM payments. Automatic nightly batching sent directly to the merchant's bank of account. 

Where to Use BLAZEPAY

  How to Use the BLAZEPAY / Dejavoo Hardware

  • Enter amount.

NOTE: Amount has to be rounded up to nearest $10 increment.

  • A merchant fee will appear, click OK.
  • You will see the total amount on a screen, please Insert Debit Cart.
  • Select type account as checking ALWAYS.
  • You will see the total amount and request to enter PIN > enter PIN and click OK 
  • NOTE: A beeping noise indicating that it is safe to remove a card and message to remove a card will appear.
  • Transaction Approved or Declined will show up on the screen.

  • NOTE: On the receipt, you will always see the reason for a decline if the transaction was declined.
  • NOTE: If the Debit card is removed prior to the success message, the message “remove a card” will appear and the transaction will not be processed, it will be reversed. On the receipt, you will see the message REVSL INC-000-Approved.

1. Add a member to the queue and add items to their cart via the POS section

NOTE: Orders can be started in the Dispatch section, but they cannot be completed there

  • Click the Checkout button.
  • Optional: Add applicable promos, rewards, discounts, and / or notes.
  • Click the Place Order button.

  • NOTE: The Hold button will save the changes made and take you out of the order.

2. On the Payments page, select the BLAZEPAY payment option 

NOTE: If multiple payments are desired, toggle on the Enable Split Payments setting.

3. Direct your attention to the BLAZEPAY / Dejavoo terminal 

  • Enter amount.
  • NOTE: Amount has to be rounded up to nearest $10 increment.
  • A merchant fee will appear, click OK.
  • You will see the total amount on a screen, please Insert Debit Cart.

4. Direct your attention back to the Payments page

  • Click the Pay button.
  • If assigned to a cash drawer, the register will open.
  • Tender any change necessary.
  • Optional: Print or email a copy of the receipt to the member.

1. Access the task you want to tender, pack if necessary and select the BLAZEPAY payment option.
